Glengarriff - An Gleann Garbh (the rugged glen) is a name derived from the rugged beauty of the mountains and wooded valleys surrounding the village. Indeed there are many magnificent views of mountains and valleys from numerous viewpoints which hug the coastline that leads into Glengarriff.
Pets are allowed at this location, at an extra fee of E25, payable onsite to your caretaker.
Glengarriff village is situated overlooking a sheltered harbour and Garnish Island, otherwise known as "Illuaculin" Ireland's most outstanding garden island with its internationally famous collection of plants and is world renowned for its Italian Gardens.
Glengarriff is a gateway to the Ring of Kerry and Beara Peninsula and is a picturesque village with all the charm of West Cork. Shops, pubs and restaurants adorn this village which is in close proximity to Bantry and Glengarriff Golf Clubs.
The homes are comfortable and well equipped. There are 3 bedrooms, one double and 2 single rooms (one with a pull out bed).

ACTIVITIES
Garnish Island
Garnish Island, otherwise known as Ilnacullin, is located in the sheltered harbour Glengarriff. It is a small island of 15 hectares (37 acres) known to horticulturists and lovers of trees and shrubs all around the world as an island garden of rare beauty.
Fishing
West Cork is an anglers paradise. Deep Sea fishing, shore fishing, game fishing and coarse fishing are all available.
Walking
For walkers, Glengarriff is the perfect base to take on the challenges of the Beara and the Kerry Way.
Touring
